Professional summary

Prof. Saif Salim AlQaydi is an academic and policy maker with extensive expertise in economic geography and environmental studies. His career includes senior leadership roles as First Chancellor of the University of Kalba, Dean of Academic Operations at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Fujairah, and Dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at United Arab Emirates University.

His research addresses economic activities, environmental management, GIS applications, geographical names, and sustainable approaches to natural resource management in the UAE and internationally. He has represented the UAE at United Nations meetings on geographical names and served on numerous national committees, editorial boards, and award juries.
